7:30PM - 8:30PM Refreshment

SANS is bringing Bryce Galbraith, a SANS Certified Instructor, to Singapore on March 2 for a free evening seminar designed for dedicated information security professionals.

Bryce will discuss two of today's hot topics in the battle against the increasingly sophisticated attacks we all face. Learn how attackers use advanced "Man-in-the-Middle" attacks to defeat common encryption mechanisms (e.g. SSL, RDP, VPN), strong authentication systems (e.g. lengthy pass-phrases and even one-time passwords), as well as end-user awareness efforts (e.g. anti-phishing defenses) to gain access to critical assets. He will also discuss how attackers effectively bypass the latest IDS/IPS/anti-virus detection systems to deliver their malicious payloads despite our best efforts.

When the attacker knows more than us, we lose...come and even the playing field!
