In order to bring more value to the SyScan'09 Singapore alumni, we will kick-off a SyScan Distinguished Security Speaker Series. This is an event in which we will invite internationally well-know security personalities to visit Singapore, meet up with the SyScan alumni and share their insights. Hopefully, through this series and many more other SyScan activities to come, we can build up a bigger, stronger and closer security community in Singapore, which is currently lacking or very weak in form and substance.

The first distinguished speaker in this series will be Eugene Kaspersky. Evgeniy Valentinovich Kasperskiy, aka Eugene Kaspersky, the Founder of Kaspersky Lab, will be in Singapore for the first time and will be speaking on "Cyber Threats and its Counter Technologies in year 2020 and Beyond".

This event will be complimentary to all attendees to SyScan'09 Singapore. All you need to do is register and show up with your SyScan'09 name badge. You NEED TO BRING ALONG YOUR SYSCAN'09 NAME BADGE IN ORDER TO GAIN COMPLIMENTARY ENTRY. If you do not bring your name badge, you will be required to pay a nominal fee.

All member companies of the Security and Governance Chapter (SGC) of the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SITF) please register with the SITF Secretariat (weeleng@sitf.org.sg). Each member company will be entitled to 1 complimentary entry to the event. Additional registrants will be required to pay a nominal fee.

We like to open this event to the public and all security enthusiasts in Singapore. A nominal fee of S$20 per person will be payable to recover the cost incurred in the organisation of this event.
